About Me

Many Thanks for taking the time to view my website..My name is Simon Manning and I have been filming Weddings for around 15 years. I graduated from Kent University in 2002 with a BA HONS in film and media. I then worked for several years in the USA producing videos for Theatre and Events companies. After returning to the Uk in 2005 I filmed my first wedding and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As a result I decided to setup my own Wedding Video company which has gone from strength to strength. Here I am 15 years later, I have produced hundreds of wedding videos over the years, I still love being a Wedding Videoagrapher and feel very privelaged to have met soo many wonderful people over the years….

Frequently Asked Questions

I am happy to tailor the video to suit your preference however the most common request is to produce a short cinematic version of your wedding video and also a longer version which contains the full ceremony/speeches/first dance. The shorter version is usually around 5-10 minutes long and contains all the highlights from your day. The longer version can last anywhere between 1 and 2 hours and is also fully edited to include; Morning Preparations, Guests Arriving, Full Ceremony, Guests enjoying the reception and having photographs, Wedding Breakfast, Full Speeches, Cake Cutting, First Dance & Evening Party.

I arrive early to get shots of the morning preparations (approximately 3 hours before the ceremony) I continue filming pretty much non stop until late into the evening. I dont have any specific finish times but I usually stay for an hour or so after the first dance to film people dancing and enjoying the evening.

The idea with a wedding video is to capture the day naturally without people being aware of the camera.  I therefore stay in the background as much as possible. I have a very friendly/relaxed approach and receive many compliments from photographers and guests. I hope this is all reflected in my videos.

I usually ask the bride & groom to provide me with a list of songs or favourite music styles so that I can edit the video to suit your preference. Alternatively I will pick some music that I think compliments the video, this can be changed at a later date after you watch the first draft copy
